Purpose

The M-Vocha Merchant Referral Program rewards individuals and businesses who introduce new merchants to join the M-Vocha platform. The objective is to grow the M-Vocha merchant network by partnering with quality businesses that offer valuable vouchers to customers.

Referral Reward

You will earn KSh 2,000 for every new merchant you refer that completes onboarding, is approved by M-Vocha, and publishes their first live voucher. There is no limit to the number of merchants you can refer.

Eligible Merchants

M-Vocha will provide referral partners with a merchant leads list containing businesses that M-Vocha wishes to onboard. The leads list will include business name, industry, general address and email address.

You may also introduce a business that is not on the leads list. Referrals from outside the list qualify for the reward, provided M-Vocha approves the business.

Referrals may include businesses such as hotels, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, fashion and clothing stores, electronics retailers, beauty and spa businesses, gyms and fitness centres, travel and tour companies, entertainment venues, automotive businesses, healthcare providers, home and lifestyle businesses, and any other business approved by M-Vocha.

How The Program Works

1. Register. Join the M-Vocha Merchant Referral Program and receive your unique referral link or referral code.
2. Refer a merchant. Introduce a business that is not already registered on M-Vocha.
3. Merchant registration. The merchant completes the M-Vocha registration process and submits all required business information.
4. Approval. M-Vocha reviews and approves the merchant after verification.
5. Payment. Once the merchant is approved and their first voucher is live on M-Vocha, you earn KSh 2,000.

Merchant Requirements

To qualify for referral approval, the merchant must:

• Be from the merchant leads list provided by M-Vocha, or be a business you introduce yourself that M-Vocha approves.
• Complete the onboarding process.
• Submit accurate business information.
• Agree to M-Vocha's merchant terms.
• Publish at least one active voucher or offer.

Voucher Policy

To protect customers and build trust in the M-Vocha marketplace:

• Every merchant must offer vouchers with a minimum validity of 3 months (90 days) from the date the voucher becomes available.
• Longer validity periods are encouraged.
• Exceptions may be made only for time specific promotions (such as concerts or seasonal events), provided the expiry date is clearly disclosed before purchase.

Referral Tracking

Each merchant referral will be tracked through the following stages:

1. Referral Submitted
2. Merchant Contacted
3. Registration Completed
4. Verification
5. Merchant Approved
6. Voucher Published
7. Commission Paid

Program Terms

• A referral reward is paid only once per approved merchant.
• Merchants already registered with M-Vocha do not qualify.
• Duplicate referrals will be credited to the first referrer whose referral can be verified.
• Fraudulent, misleading or spam referrals will be rejected.
• M-Vocha reserves the right to verify all referrals before approving commission payments.
• If a referred merchant withdraws from M-Vocha within three months of going live, or is found not to be a legitimate business, M-Vocha may reclaim the KSh 2,000 referral reward from the referral partner.
• M-Vocha may amend or terminate the program at any time, provided existing approved commissions remain payable.
